the monument. it has a big globe on the top. kraig, me, cathy, laura, whitney, & brett with the huge ecuador painting at la mitad del mundo. me & katie....at latitude 0!!!

I read that the real equater is actually a few miles away from Quito. Does anyone around there agree with that info? It's up to you to verify the location of the real equator while you're down there.
